IMPROVEMENT OF MODEL OF OPTICAL SIGNAL PROPAGATION ON THE BASIS OF VOLTERRA SERIES
Abstract
The advanced model of distribution of a signal in optical fiber on the basis of the nonlinear equation of Schrödinger is considered in article. The analysis of the existing methods of the solution of this task is carried out and expediency of application of the Volterra series theory is shown. The advanced expression allowing to increase considerably reliability of this method is offered. Comparison of an modeling error of a standard and modified method of modeling on the basis of Volterra series is carried out. As reference model of optical fiber was used the split step Fourier method. It is shown that application of an advanced method of Volterra series allows to increase modeling accuracy more than 20 times.Downloads
