Abstract

The article deals with the development of radar meteorology methods for remote detection and identification of hazardous weather events, as well as their implementation in the meteorological radar. Show technical and information capabilities of radar techniques and technical means of obtaining information on remote meteorological clouds and related hazardous weather phenomena along with large areas in real time. An advantage of distance learning techniques in the service of the forecast storm warnings of lightning, and torrential Gradova processes, tornadoes, cyclones and atmospheric fronts. Shown historical sequence of informative parameters of power radar echo signal to frequency, phase and polarization, their implementation in meteorological radars as incoherent and coherent, single wave and two-wave. A special role in terms of obtaining the fullest extent of meteorological radar data object is given to the operator scattering, which is a set of matrices at each polarization radiated electromagnetic wave. Analyzed historical development of radar techniques and facilities by various authors in our country and abroad, proved the most promising methods of remote detection and identification meteorological facilities.
