Abstract

This paper provides the results of studies the effect on quality performance the high and ultra-high-definition images from the pre-filtering type of the amplitude-frequency characteristics. The focus is on modeling the frequency response in the transition band by window functions. The dependences of the signal / noise ratio at the borders of the image about the order pre-filtration filter. Filter impulse responses obtained at different window functions that were used in frequency domain. There were based the methods of selecting the number of samples in the transition band, which allows to get quality performance reducing the phenomenon of Gibbs.
