IMPACT OF THE OPTICAL FIBER CHEMICAL COMPOSITION ON CHROMATIC DISPERSION
Abstract
The analysis of the dependence of the specific material, waveguide and chromatic dispersions on the signal operating wavelength for step single-mode optical fibers for different chemical composition of the core and cladding. The influence of dopants on a value of the chromatic dispersion of the signal is shown. Determined the chemical compositions of optical fibers that satisfy dispersion specifications in ITU G.652 recommendations.Downloads
