BROADBAND ANNULAR SLOT ANTENNA

Abstract

The properties of the antenna in the form of a circular ring of variable width slot cut into a flat screen made of highly conductive material. The outer radius of the ring slot is equal to a quarter wavelength adopted as the basis for calculations. On the basis of computer modeling the frequency dependence of the impedance, the directivity of, the module of the reflection coefficient and VSWR at the antenna was calculated and analyzed. Noting the significant advantages of the considered antenna relative to a half-wave of the rectangular slit, which are as much a wider frequency band within which changes the input impedance and VSWR are insignificant.
