Abstract

The paper considers the totality of geometric properties (topology) of designs called as delta- fractals. The characteristics of the dipoles formed on the basis of linear D-fractals. The analysis of the frequency dependency of the input impedance, VSWR and directivity. On this basis it was concluded that the factor determining the practical advantage of fractal dipoles, are significant decrease their resonance frequencies, which facilitates the creation of small-size antenna design. There are "multi-band" antenna elements with high quality factor and a relatively narrow operating frequency band that is the hallmark of many kinds of fractal structures.
