Abstract

An number of analytical expressions that allow to determine the subscriber and trunk lines length and places for its installation on the basis of information about the number of active access equipment and about infrastructure taking into account of city specifics. An algorithms used as part of the method of choosing of the most promising techniques for particular locality and access technologies. The approach used in the algorithms based on the principle of uniform distribution of subscribers via the area encompassed by accessing hardware such as Ethernet switches or digital subscriber lines multiplexers.
