EVALUATION OF THE ECONOMIC FEASIBILITY OF THE IMPLEMENTATION OF TECHNOLOGICAL SOLUTIONS BASED ON THE IMITATION MODELING OF THE PROCESS OF CONSTRUCTING AND EXPLOITATION OF TELECOMMUNICATION NETWORKS

Abstract

The method for evaluating of the economic feasibility of different technological solutions' implementation based on the imitation modeling of the process of constructing and exploitation of telecommunication networks both for the whole network as well as for each of its segments separately was proposed. As the core of the developed method used a model of service delivery (reference model), which takes into account only those elements of the existing networks, that are involved in the transport of telecommunication load, as well as imitation model for determination of the operating costs amounts by simulating the operation of a similar scale hypothetical subsystem. This method involves the comparison of technological solutions on the basis of the calculated prime cost of services for the end user and allows to compare similar technological solutions implemented on hardware from different manufacturers to determine the implementation phasing.
