ELECTRODYNAMIC CHARACTERISTICS OF THE DISCRETELY­CURVILINEAR FRACTAL MONOPOLE

Abstract

In this paper we consider a set of geometric properties (topology) of discretely-curvilinear fractals. The characteristics of antenna monopoles formed on the basis of discretely-curvilinear ring fractal ring were investigated. Analysis of the frequency dependence of the input impedance and standing wave ratio was performed. It has been established that a major advantage of fractal monopole compared to the ring monopole is decrease to 10...15 % for resonance frequencies , therefore in the same frequency range such constructions have smaller dimensions.
