THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE RECOVERY SYSTEM OF THE FUTURE NETWORK

Abstract

According to ITU recommendations, the typical natural disasters that may affect the future networks and cause different types of damage are described in the article. The plan for disaster management, namely the following telecommunications operator’s activities: prevention, preparedness, response and recovery, is defined. The main task of the recovery system, which is phased out the provision of a given number of channels on pre-defined major lines of communication in the interests of the telecommunications operator, network management, defense, security and law enforcement in terms of mass destructions on the network as a whole, is formed. Along with the main task, the recovery system networks of the future networks must ensure sustainable operation of the networks of Ukraine, with the required quality in conditions of possible destruction of individual sections of the network lines and telecommunications, as well as deployment of mobile communications in the areas of emergency situations, workarounds, and fallback communication networks.
