Abstract

The article describes the topology of omnidirectional planar antenna with circular polarization and studied its properties. Design feature is that the antenna is a planar ring of variable width, the interior of which is placed a single-pass flat Archimedes spiral, with a small number of turns. On the basis of computer simulation analysis of the frequency dependence of the coefficient of directed action (CPV), input impedance and standing wave ratio (VSWR) at various ratios of radii of rings and spirals, as well as the number of turns. Shown directional pattern and considered directional properties of antennas. The main advantage of the proposed article design solutions, along with the planar antenna design and ease of cart-excitation asymmetrical (for example, a coaxial line), is a broad band of operating frequencies, which is determined by the level of VSWR <2.
