Abstract

Requirements for intelligent video surveillance systems based on ITU Recommendations and operational practices are analyzed. Quantitative and qualitative estimates of performance for motion detection systems based on the SAD algorithm under different observation conditions are obtained. Recommendations on the use of relevant systems for video analytics and video processing tasks are provided.
